Purple Heart Homes was founded by Dale Beatty and John Gallina to provide personalized housing solutions for Service Connected Disabled Veterans and their families. The organization’s programs include helping disabled Veterans to become first time homeowners, as well as insuring injury specific barrier-free living for these and other veterans.

Three Coins Cast owner Susie Powell was inspired by a family visit to Normandy last Thanksgiving, and said she is honored to be working with Purple Heart Homes.

“Helping some southern veterans to have safe and comfortable homes when they come home injured is a very small way to show my family’s appreciation,” Powell said.

Sgt. Scott Emory is one of the recipients of some Thee Coins Cast furniture for his existing home. He was injured while serving in the Gulf War with the United States Marines. Emory is already volunteering with Purple Heart Homes to provide assistance to other veterans.

“I hope Sgt. Emory and his family will be really comfortable in their home,” Powell said, “and I am in awe of the sacrifices they’ve made for our country and our freedom.”
