SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A car veered off a freeway here and plowed into Indigo Imports Furniture and Mattress, causing damage that a local television report likened to a tornado or a bomb.
David Keller, owner of the store, said the accident happened before the store opened Sunday so it was unoccupied. However, there was extensive damage to inventory and the building’s structure, according to a KYTV report on KY3.com.
