The diameter of umbrellas is measured across the top of the umbrella, over the curve. For this reason, measuring from one side to the other across the underside will result in a measurement that is slightly smaller than the stated size.

Warranty Details for Fiberglass Ribbed Umbrellas

The fiberglass ribbed umbrellas shown on this site, as well as upholstery work are warranted for a period of one year to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. In addition, the fiberglass support ribs are warranted for five years. For the warranty to apply, all umbrellas must be secured within bases of weights equal to or greater than those specified. Home use Garden & Market umbrellas have a one year warranty on all components. Note that the umbrella poles, cranks and tilts are not covered by any warranties.
