About Pipefine Patio Furniture Company

Pipefine Patio Furniture was established in 1968 in Southeast Florida.  Over the years there have been several owners and the company has seen many changes.

The current owner, Terry Potter, is a native of New Zealand who settled in the US in 1993.  After purchasing the business in early 2007, he moved it from its long-time Ft. Lauderdale location closer to his home in northeast Florida.

“When I came across Pipefine I was impressed by the unique styles of PVC furniture that had been designed, and could see the potential of the well-established and recognized brand name. The designs really are quite different to anything else available in PVC.

“The quality was another factor. Pipefine’s stellar track record of almost 40 years in business proved to me that the product was sound. In fact, we often get calls from residential customers who have had Pipefine furniture for 10, 15 and even 20 years, wanting to replace their cushions and expressing their delight at how well the furniture has lasted after such a long time.

“PVC patio furniture is ideal for the climatic conditions experienced here in Florida, because it resists damage from sun, humidity and salt air.  It’s also a very practical alternative for the northern climate, because it is not affected by extreme cold either.”

The company is expanding, both in its PVC furniture production and with its adoption of other furniture types.  The latest additions to the range include outdoor wicker, teak and aluminum furniture. Future plans call for retail outlets in strategic locations.

Pipefine offers a limited lifetime warranty on its PVC products, and extends other manufacturers’ warranties in some cases.

“We only want to be involved with top quality products and unique designs. Only then can we genuinely offer the extensive warranties we do.”

Pipefine is committed to quality improvement, and many of the molds used for forming products have been redesigned to accommodate more exacting tolerances. 

 “I am very particular about what I attach my name to, so nothing goes out the door unless it is top quality.”

Pipefine’s manufacturing facility is located in Bunnell, Florida – close to I-95 between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine.
